Revelation 6:2

“Faith can move mountains.

So why are you stumbling on a little rock?”

TESTIMONY of Tanesha Jackson🚗

I am a 43 year old woman. I started enduring abuse at an early age. At age 9, I was molested by a grown man! A friend of my mother. This continued at school by football players and just random males. My parents were going through their own addictions. So they could not see what was going on in my life. At age 13, my father was the first man to ever call me a slut. He was clueless that I had been sexually abused for 4 years, at that point! Soon after that my parents divorced. My mother became a prostitute, crack addict and alcoholic. Which gave my father the opportunity to get custody of me and my two younger siblings that belonged to him. My oldest brother, who was 15, ended up going into foster care because my father's "mistress", soon to be new wife, was only willing to raise his biological children. So he took us and dropped us off at his sister's house until he married her. My aunt and uncle were pastors and introduced Jesus to me! One night, I wanted to stay home and watch my cousins while they went to church. They sent a neighbor over to fill the wood stove. He asked me, "Are you sure y'all don't want to go to church?" The Spirit said to GO! So he dropped is off at church. About 15 minutes later, the fire department came to the church and told us that the house was engulfed in flames. Everything was lost. My father had no choice but to quickly marry his new wife and move us in. She and I were only 10 years apart and did not get along! So she gave my dad the ultimatum for either her or me to go. She stood in my face and told me, "You are going to grow up to be a slut just like your mother!' My dad then bagged up all my clothes in two black garbage bags and drove me from Alabama to Arkansas. He dropped me off on my great grandmother's doorstep! I was soon sent to California to one of my mom's younger sisters to live. Right when I was getting adjusted, my dad made me come back home. That didn't last long before I was put out again! I stayed with my best friend for my 11th and 12th grade year, then graduated at age 16. I invited my dad to my graduation, which was five minutes away from his home, but he did not come. The only family member there was his sister who introduced me to Jesus! I moved to California. And to this day, I can't tell anyone how God led me to my mother in a crack house! I did all I could to help get her clean. It hurt so bad seeing her like that, that I would pray for God to just take her home (to Heaven)! That way, I would at least know where she was at all times. I then got pregnant at age 18. I had my baby. His name was Anthony, but he died 4 months later! And his dad died 8 months after him. I was only 19 by this time. With all this trauma, rejection and death. Soon after that, I found out I had cervical cancer and had to have surgery to prevent it from spreading to other female organs! I will stop right here and continue more of my testimony at a later time. I pray that this portion is enough to let others know, no matter what cards have been dealt to you in life, God will see you through every time. God bless!
